I've had the seat off.. and found the cylinder for the shock under there ( like Marty's but his is on the side of his)with the words PENSKE RACING SHOCK on... does this mean anything or nothing?
Penske do two options with the shock
-a short hose which mounts on the subframe rails on the left side
-a long hose with the resevoir under the seat
The one I bought had a long hose but I didn't want it under the seat so routed the hose under the battery box and mounted it on the right subframe
Is it the same looking as yours or has yours got a hexagonal adjuster on the top instead of my gold one?
it's running Dunlop sportsmax 207's. I've never had any experience with these... what about you lot?
Not keen personally but they're not bad
They are not nearly as good in the wet/cold as Bridgestones or Pirelli's
They take a bit longer to warm up
They're a bit pointier than the Bridgestones and Pirelli's so you get a sharper tip in
the yellow on the hugger does not match the bike at all.. it's a totally different colour
Bens top tip
Don't clean it so much and you'll never notice
