4 kids: 20 & 18 yrs, work casual but still live here and two school age (15& 11yrs)3 girls and youngest a boy. Great kids but wish the older 2 would take the hint ( there have been many) and fly the coop. Sounds harsh  I know :!: :!: but it gets a bit tense sometimes. And since everyone is telling, Im 45yrs young, growing younger by the minute   motorbikes keep me happy and to some extent sane :D cant say the same about the wife tho

If they're still at home when you'd rather they weren't, it's simple. You're doing too much for them. Stop doing their washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning, etc & charge them reasonable board. They'll soon be out. If not, they're there for a reason & ya can't complain. :P

(VTRgirl backs away, waiting for abuse, but stands by what she's said...)

I can't wait till mine are riding age so we can all go out for a trash together.

Of course, dad (moi) will be the one wearing the old fashioned full face Shoei and riding some contraption with a manual gearbox, rubber tyres and needs to stop for petrol every 200kms !

They'll be zipping past on their flybywire chickenpoo powered floaty things.

no, I don't feel old.

But sure am looking forward to those days :)
