Time for a drum roll.....................I'm coming
To Inverness, that wasnt a shout of joy!
Put me down for 2 seats, for me and her before anyone accuses me of having a huge butt.
Just got to find ourselves a B & B.

Just a Quick question to you guy's in the know, which way is better, A9 up form edniburgh or A82 from Glasgow??
Bearing in mind I'm heading up form the east coast

there are various ways to go.
you can cross at scotch corner and up the m6, m74, m8, a82.
or m6, m74, m73, m80, m9.
or up a1 to around wooler area and cross country from there, head for coldstream, dalkieth, m8
or all the way up the a1 and it joins the m8.
the a82 is up loch lommond side, more scenic, a9 might be quicker, speed cameras on it though.
all roads will be busy, the m8 in particular at both the edinburgh end and around glasgow from 12 on a friday afternoon, standing traffic crossing the clyde at the kingston bridge.

Autoroute says head to Glasgow and avoid the A9.
