i would have to go with the cct, i know nothing about bikes at all, but that is exactly the same noise mine was making for about a week or so before it went pop (front), hope its not, but at least you know there is somthing wrong before its somthing gone wrong... good luck!

Hi Kitch,
Just seen your vid and that noise sounds just like mine did, I replaced both cct's and that cured it.
So in my opinion I think it is a cct!
I hope this helps, and that you get it sorted soon.

CCT it is (I was kinda suspecting and hoping it was)

Will be fitting APE tensioners at some point, but its fine now.
Voted most likely to be found dead in park bushes following an act of autoerotic asphyxiation.

nah man, I'm buying shiny bits :)

gutted, just missed out on a top banana rear shock and full front cartridge kit, but was working when it ended and got sniped :(

just seen this my storm has exactly the same noise, did you find out what is was. very intermittent may only do it once on journey to work 10 miles through traffic.and for only short period of time.

yeah. Confirmed as Front CCT acting up. Eventually it would have gone pop, but I fitted APE manual ones instead.

Recommended.
