Or is it just me
Or me either, I thought for a minute BSM had changed the colour and it was now like a Stealth machine, that's why we couldn't see it  but they're there now

It looks like you're getting there Marty  Keep up the good work

awwww bloody hell mate :(

what's with all the drops i'm reading about of late by people?

how you drop it?

My knees are wombles from constantly picking up heavy boxes and twisting / running to the right then twisting back, over and over and over etc

Few times I've been doing stuff with the bike and my knee has buckled and the bike has gone lucky its gone the way with the side stand down and its been down stopping the bike

What is that little back thing i see stuck to your Numberplate ? a camera of some sort?

hi seb
i dropped it whilst trying to put it on a rear paddock stand.......doh!!!!
i didn't realish the stand was on uneven ground and the side stand was up
it was a slow motion drop because i managed to slow the fall down with my left leg/knee.....ouch!!!!!
on the plus side, theres very little damage, i'll pop the bike into the painters some time this week and get him to touch in the paint.
and yes mate its a small camera on my numberplate, i've now moved it to the front of the bike. it only costs a tenner on ebay. the memory card 16gb cost me more, it ain't bad considering how cheap it was.....
i just found out tonight that my mate with the gsxr1000 k9 smashed his bike up at the ring on saturday, he's fine but his bike is in bad shape, just aswell they went over in a van
exhausts are looking good seb, you could'ave given the headers a clean tho
i find that a little bit of autosol on a wirewool pad brings them up a treat, i just rub it gently and the titanium seems very easy to clean....
ride safe dude....

you dont have the best luck Marty, you must have been gutted!

I had a similar slow drop on mine about 2 yrs ago, but that was my fault for using a damaged paddock stand, I knew the main upright tube had a little split in it, but still kept on using it! One day as I was cleaning the bike, it started to fall away from me as the split in the tube ruptured and collapsed, and there I am on the left side of the bike trying to stop it falling down onto the clutch side, and to make matters worse the good side of the paddock stand is still holding the rear wheel off the ground!...................so you know you cant stop it falling, its just delaying the enevitable :(

In my case there is a small crack in the fairing that you can only see if you push the pannel inwards, hope yours is also easy to hide!

iridium screen

r&g fork protectors and carbon fender extender
Image
carbon engine covers from germany

original sprocket cover, polished and cut down to fit

smaller numberplate, with a small camera attached, the illegal plate kept me behind a traffic cop for 2 miles today  (i didn't want to risk overtaking him)
Image
and heres a couple of general pictures
Image
Image
thats it for now, heres a list of jobs still to do....
new chain
fit 19ltr tank/hugger/lowers/radial m/c and calipers/titax levers/brake line/cbr600 stick coils/ re-trim spare seat/ dynojet kit and dyno setup. i'm sure theres more than that.
i've also got to get tony to look at the rear caliper bracket. check a rattle at the front of the engine, then i have to sort out the wiring and fuel warning light. re-adjust the left clip-on riser and straighten the standard clutch lever (damaged when i dropped the bike last weekend)for the time being.........
what have i got myself into

illegal plate kept me behind a traffic cop for 2 miles today  (i didn't want to risk overtaking him)
Just a thought, what about all the cameras. Swingarm looks good finally on the bike.

Have Fun.

yeah we did cut the sprocket cover a bit short, but we were running out of time, i might by a coerce jobby at a later date. i don't believe the cameras to be a problem, its when you see a copper in the flesh so to speak 8O
the carbon covers are holding up very well thanks.....spot on
it should look even better when i fit the hugger and hel rear brake line.... oh and the blue rear caliper and titanium sprocket nuts....
thanks kev, theres still so much to do, i need to tidy up the front mudguard, i need to trim the carbon because of the damage to the o/s lower front edge. tbh you don't really notice it, but i do all the time.
