How thick are your tyres?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

It was down to 1mm above the marker and the screw went in just enough to let it down very slowly ,slow enough to make it home and change it .

Paid the mechanic. My valve clearances have been done so picking it up Saturday. Can't wait!
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

I was watching 24hrs in A&E on Weds...Some little lad had been knocked down by a car (nothing funny about that I know...) His dad was explaining to the Mum about the test done so far & came out with...bigtwinthing wrote:washed it in anticipation of dry weather Saturday. ''He's just been for a CCT Scan...''
Now that did make me chuckle...Do you think the NHS would get a bit peeved if we all turned up & asked for a CCT scan ?
''A&E how can I help''
''My Storms poorly can I get one of them CCT scans please ?''
''Bugger off & stop wasting our time !''

Took fairings off The Custard Crumble & pulled all the conections apart to add dilectic grease to them.
Tuesdays run in to work was a bit on the damp side to say the leaste ! At one point I went through a rather large puddle, no choice it was right across the road, bit of a bow wave, the upshot of which was a bit of a short somewhere resulting in the neutral light staying on no matter what gear I was in. Stayed like it the whole way in & was on & off on the way home.
So that done wrestled the fairing back on & gave it a wash.
Checked all the lights & found a tail light out...brake light was working on that bulb...swapped it over for another bulb...tail light now working...no brake light... Try another bulb...all OK...

one step forward, two steps back, battery fitted, turns over a treat, but it won't fire.....
I also can't get the horn to work, swapped it out for another one, still won't work, checked the fuse, and that looks ok, i'll swap the fuse over tomorrow just in case. so I've got some serious head scratching to do, or have I just got lice......

Have you connected the green connection to the right ones behind the fairing

1st things first...Check the bloody vac line is on, followed by making sure you havent forgotten to turn the fuel tap back on...You have got fuel in it haven't you...agentpineapple wrote:one step forward, two steps back, battery fitted, turns over a treat, but it won't fire.....

Check the horn by conecting it directly to the battery if it works it's the switch...try another switch, dont have to swap it all over just unplug the switchgear & plug the alternate one into the loom, conect the horn & try it.
