No it was blue smart butt...
Besides the R/R was off it when he took it as I had robbed the one on it for Custard & hadn't got round to putting it back on...
He bolted it back on...I think the bolts were a bit short TBH...
He's just pullled up out side so he made it home this time...

Mini bike track day today.
Great craic, I had one big off when I caught the hand guard on the apex tyrewall at 50mph...... I had to crawl off the track as I was badly winded. But after that it got better and faster.... big smiles

Well I cant complain about my post crash aches and pains after reading about Macdee's brother.......... but when I said minibikes were way safer to race / crash I might not have had all the facts
out of the 3 times I have been on track, I have had a crash each time
first was a low speed lowside and hence my assumption they would all be like that. 2nd two outings have been highsides and I can confirm that even with bodyarmour and leathers they still hurt...... on the plus side, the bike survives well.
I am third in this photo, but I got past them both in the next 2 laps --- green is almost as fast as yellow... and this was post crash.
I wont show you the bruises on my butt and hips

Candy Blue was always my fave colour, apart from a couple of age/wear realted minor niggles and a chain snapping, ive done a few thousand miles on it now without it leaving me stranded, a standard LC is in a pretty soft state of tune eh?
My friend has just bought a tricked up 250M like in your very smart avatar pic..You still own that?
My 350lc blew up on the ride home from the shop I bought it from! In their defence they had it fully rebuilt by a specialist and it was great after that apart from the horrible front brakes
No, don't have that RGV anymore, it ended up under the back of a lorry (driver turned right without indicating)! I owned that back in the early nineties, got it after the LC. I had knee sliders sewn on to my jeans as I couldn't afford leathers at the time

I embarrassed a number of litre bikes with the RGV, absolute weapon that thing was
There ya go Dave, met up with my mate with the RGV today, its had a full chassis & engine rebuild, with some mild engine tweaking ,JL exhaust , all set up for the engine...the thing really does fly between 70-110..Handles beautifully as you know and looks just like Kevins!

I also had a fab 90 mile thrash on the storm, not missing the GSXR one bit....except for the tank range..!
Lovely looking RGV podman, you guys should be well matched as the tank range is about the same

Yeah, they pull really well past 70, even in stock trim, though not quite on a par with the Storm torque-wise

Wilton mill kart track is on the national championship event list, plus it has just launched its own 6 race series all at Wilton. As it is close for me I will be trying to do a few of those in the Vet class.
will post up any dates That I will be doing

Belly pan off and cleaned the headers and all behind that front of the engine, stripped the Brakes, cleaned the calipers the pistons. Cleaned some flaky paint from the Rad and Hammerited it until next winter. Cleaned inside the swinging arm, checked and adjusted the chain. Polished the link pipes.

Took the VTR for a night ride. Over the winter I fitted an Osram "Night Breaker" bulb and powered it directly off the battery with a couple of relays. What a difference! Stunning!! Bl**dy cold though. 2 deg when I got home. Couldn't feel my fingers to get the key in the lock....
