Apparently they have been nesting there for a few years and it’s on the register , they were trying to adapt the building that they’re nesting on but can’t get permission so they’ve worked around them and made it a special placegrumpyfrog wrote:Don't tell anyone. Many years ago I had a girlfriend and was trying to get into her special place but there was a 500 metre exclusion zone around that, apparently.
She obviously had a Buzzard in her gusset.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Fitted a couple of NOS bits to the Chopper...
Celebrated the new bling( and now nearly functioning brakes) by a ride out.
Cleared the way of geese down the park by the mighty air horn...get a lot of fun out of the air horn!

Popped up Tescos for a bike mag.
Nearly convinced the mob at the Click 'n Collect id come for the shopping.

Flat out down here is about the same level of fear as going down Bray Hill at TT week...I imagine...

Now knackered, Podman, aged 10...

Final tweaking to the carbs on the 500 today, ended up with 80BHP at the tyre and a much smoother curve. Great result for a stock bike.
Before and after.

Hopefully after 2 years of ownership, this Summer I can enjoy it as intended.

80BHP from a 500cc in standard trim sounds very good to me

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?
A nice dry day for a change, which meant I got to the mot testing station and back home without the slightest inkling of rain
Mind you I had been studying the weather forecast for days before booking up the mot test At least the forecasters got it right this time
Chris.

Bikes of a different sort for me today.
MK Chopper ride out, real laid back day out with plenty of laughs n smiles all round, I think the age group ranged from 2 to nearly 70..some very smart and tricked out stuff on show.
