Now I spose I really should treat it to a proper deep clean & maybe even break out some polish.

Best go & have a cupppa & a smoke first!

I put off cleaning my beastie today. Figured I might as well wait until the new Reg/rec arrives tomorrow and then get stuck in.

Now I've ordered stickers from the man with the boobs (not timbo the other one) and figure I might as well wait until they arrive so I can put the stickers on right after its cleaned.

I like this procrastination business!

Wonder if matey on the black 'Storm with the fuel leak got home unsinged? 8O

Hope so. Though it could have been funny to watch a bright orange ball of flame hurtling down the road :D

By the way, ta for the recommend on that road. Bloody brilliant corners and HUUUUUUUGE speed on the nice straight bits of 'airstrip'.

checked tyre pressures and then rode the butt of it .
i need a bigger rear sprocket on the rear as it hits max speed in 5th .
i have a 15f and 41 rear . i have a 44rear on order just hope the standard chain fits

Lloydie, I'm surprised it won't max out with a 15 tooth front sprocket, although it should with a 44 tooth rear/15 front

Fitting a 43 tooth rear with a standard 16 tooth front sprocket the standard length chain will just fit. So seeing as you're one tooth down on the front from standard already a 44 tooth rear should fit with the standard length chain.

Chris.

something not right there bud.
even with a 41 0n the back it should be hitting the limiter no problem with 15 on the front...
have you checked the throttle position sensor??

explains how to set it in the manual.

it has one ! . i think my 17stone has something to do with it
it hit the limiter in 5th but not in 6th . i dont do 100mph+ often i just like to get there quick one wheel or two it dont matter
 i find the gearing to tall for me even with the 15f , i will try it with the 44rear before i start messing with the tps
