we had a massive storm today, constant thunder and lighting for an hour, but it's already drying out, it'll be 20+ degree's tomorrow and sunny....

Lets hope the weather is good for Macs do!
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
Isn't rain a sodding "Pain" . I hate the rain as i wear specs and ya can't see bugger all if its bad. I don't mind riding in the wet, it makes the butt end all "squirreley" and i like that, but last time out i got the front "Squirrely" and almost shat myself. I don't ride enough in the wet to be good.
My mate who has a Gixer 1000 rides in anything and is a "RainGod" i can't keep up with him ever. ( and its always last one buys the bacon baps) The bar steward. Mind you his wifes a moose ( he aint reading this )

watching the tour de Yorkshire, looks cracking weather.
as its been pissing cats and dogs here all day, can't even be arsed to go spend time in the cave!
I must get this off my chest. I can rebuild a VTR. I can strip my Norton to the bare frame, strip the engine down to the crank (it's bolt together) and build it back to running condition. I can even rebuild an Ossa Pioneer and make it run but, for the life of me, I can't make, an almost new, Weed Eater run for two season in a freaking row! I have a huge amount of trimming that needs doing. With the recent rains it's even worse. I need a dependable string trimmer or I won't be able to find my car in the tall grass. I have three of the fockers in my shop and each one has it's own demon. I have pulled the starter rope so much that one arm is bigger then the other and my chest feels like I am having heart trouble. I have worn a blister between two fingers on both hands! I have been into the carb, traced the fuel lines and cleaned it to within a inch of its life. I stink like premix and carb cleaner. It will run but not long. It will run really well if I pour premix down its gob but only until the gas treat runs out. I know I probably need to replace the gaskets but it's only a year old. I will order parts rather than buy another one of these piss poor devices.
I just hate these two stoke torture devices.
I had an anemic electric one for around the house but I burned it up. It just couldn't take the strain.
Motorcycling is a tool with which you can accomplish something meaningful in your life. It is an art." Theresa Wallach
Strimmers are pretty rubbish, i bought a cheap one as i dont have alot of garden ,
think it managed 6 blades of grass and a dandylion before it blew up !!
spending hours online and on the phone trying to get a decent deal on my insurance, in the end I got fully comp with 90 day European cover, insured third party to ride other peoples bikes, for £108. with a £100 voluntary excess.
