Annoyed? I have a well sorted VTR ready to go. I have even done all the maintenance to my VFR as well. The weather has been nothing but storms and gales for the last 6 weeks. I know wet weather is usual for you guys but around here we don't just get rain, we get high winds and hail too. We usually get a very wet and stormy spring one out of every 7 years but I am sick of it and I am sick of these. . .

They have nasty habit of dropping out of the clouds and they will ruin your day when they touch the ground.

On the bright side if you get caught out whilst on the VFR it will make the yellow thing a bit faster if one touches down on it...Every cloud eh ?

Marty, Paula just read your reply... You are a marked man

And I would never make comments about my wife's bush on the internet, as people would start asking for photos :D

ordered a rattle can on the 11th, paid an extra £1.50 for 24hr delivery and i'm still waiting for it, so what was the point of paying the extra
I've asked for the delivery money back, lets see how they wriggle out of it.
it would have been cheaper and easier to have gone to a paint shop and had it made there and then. bloody ebay/royal snail strike again....

yesterday I went for a spin with my mate .
he rides an old bandit 1200 and is not the quickest round the twisty roads we have here in Suffolk.
im certainly no cal crutchlow but I do get away from him then tend to slow down a bit on the straight bits.

anyway, coming into the village of tunstall there is a nice right hander followed immediately by a nice left hander. then you would throttle down a bit as you come into the village.

I wanted to enjoy these corners without being silly so was trying to get a nice line in and glimpsed in the rear view mirror to see where al was . 1st one perfect , 2nd one also good, at the apex I was about 1 metre my side of the centre line when out of nowhere some some knob in a VW Passat, coming towards me, cut right across my line .

I guess he saw me at the last second, as I did him and we both corrected . I reckon my wing mirror missed his by about 6 inches :eek2

if I had seen this coming I probably would have felt proper shook up but the whole incident was started and over in less than a second so I didn't even feel wobbly.

about 200 metres later I pulled over to speak with my mate who confirmed it was a close one and the bloke crossed the centre line.

The point (sort of ) of posting this, is that it just shows how quick sh1t happens. riding with Al on his bandit is always pretty relaxed because I know he takes it steady as opposed to riding with some people who push on a bit so I always feel safe. just shows that other people are the problem

ride safe everybody (and be lucky)

Bloody new speed camera on the Sarf Circular, heading in towards Brixton. Got me once, 43 in a 30, from about a week ago. Now I have to check the post every day for a week to see if it's got me again on subsequent days.

Luckily I have found a new key on my keyboard:

Bloody sat navs.
On roundabout, J3 of M25, Swanley, bloody sat nav says "turn on to motorway" and the bloody woman whose car it was in does so, from the inside lane of three, straight into the side of my car.
Still driveable, no-one hurt.

It's a five junction roundabout, she was trying to come off two junctions too early. She wanted M25 not M20. Another argument on the horizon with the insurance company so that they don't try to settle 50/50 and I lose my no claim.
I'm not having that, I'd rather go to court.

Mind you, it's given me an idea....
I could get voted in as an MP, or anything I wanted.... all you have to do is hack the satnav software and the night of an election have it tell people to drive to the voting station and vote for me- they'd just do as they were told......

If I was bothered about the outcome of the forthcoming Referendum I could do something about that, I suppose, but tbh I've nothing in particular against refs, football games would go on a lot longer without them.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Glad to hear there were no injuries apart from vehicles Tony. It never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of people. Can't they think for themselves and get an A to Z like normal people. Plan their journey drive and read the road signs. Numbtees

Thanks for the heads up on the Sarf Circular camera. I shall keep an eye out for that one. Is that along that stretch where they have/had the burnt out camera on the way to Tulse Hill.
