well it was cold but dry. so iv fitted a small screen and handguards to the MT and thought lets be trying this bike..B roads to motorways and everything in between

.what a total blast of a thing, two full tanks and iv not been left like a cripple which is nice, tho im getting a comfort seat from a mate this week..
what a honker of an engine.
I like the fact you strapped a rubber ducky on the handle bars to give it a bath

I put the SP2 back together again after its repaint. And gave it a full service, all of the valves were in spec, which was good- but then, it's a Honda......
Plugs were a little worn, although they were iridium's the gap was larger than it should be, so new ones went in, and some expensive Motul 7100 oil and a filter.
I couldn't start it, the tank was emptied to touch up the paint, and I have no fresh fuel. I'll get some and check it fires up ok.
I then have to list it for sale.... No more delays, but unless I get a buyer straight away I'll leave it until the spring.
But first I have to write a listing. I am trying to remember what I've done to it, I'm sure I've missed a few things.

Nice one Tony, might be an idea to read through your old post to find out what you have done. It’s a bit like an inter web note book

Started taking the donor bike apart ready for next week when I have some time off. Hopefully I'll be able to swap engines and get the track bike back close to being ready to ride.

Not the 'Storm but my old Laverda Mirage.
Just had the head completely rebuilt - dear Lord these old bikes are expensive to sort out....!

Never mind, the front end has escaped graffiti.

Have you been up the lane yet in the dark to see how the new beams look?
I keep thinking I should change over to LED bulbs but haven’t done anything about it yet

I run one of the H4 LED conversions on my VTR and it does make a big difference

Cool,
How was the dispersion?
Did the led line up correctly for the reflector.
I don’t want it to just be brighter if the lite is shining all over the place and just annoying other motorists.
Well not until I want to lift the front wheel and make it annoy them

Had a look over Cruella this morning put fork legs back to correct height in the yokes, adjusted handlebars and switch gear and examined the crappy plastics and paintwork. Ordered EBC pads all round ready for next week

With the unit I'm running the height is very similar but the pattern is wider (cyclops 3800 lumen h4 led, though I think it is called a "10.0" now)

Yes it did. I will say that I needed to trim the rubber shield around the wires a touch to add clearance the fan but no big deal
