Don't worry, I've been taking the websites with a pinch of salt - The two I was given earlier look like they were written in 1992 by someone with a copy of the idiots guide to HTML programming.
Slappa, these guys have been very good in the past. I have a set of leathers with them at the moment being stitched -
http://www.bysonleather.co.uk/
If you struggle to get there I could pick them up or you drop them to me and I will get them dropped off as a guy I work with lives just down the road from them.
Good luck
Thanks Kev,

I think I'll get a bit more space added round the middle and maybe the crash damage on the left arm patched up at the same time, so I'll be taking some photos to get a quote.

I may just take you up on the "drop off" offer. Where abouts are you?

There's a lovely arches brick railway bridge on my way to work, it's strange, but everytime I go under it the clutch suddenly slips and the throttle blips... very odd. :biggrin

Slappa, I live in Hertford and work in Harlow. We can arrange a location to get them off you mate. Byson are an older couple and another seamstress. They have done a couple of jobs for me in the past stitching a leather jacket and replacing the velcro closure on a Sidi vertebra boot. As I said they have my spare leathers at the moment stitching a seam.
Just let me know what suits you sir!

Changed front pads to brembo's and changed brake fluid.........but can i hell get them to firm up  used the reverse method of by emptying the master cylinder then pumping new fluid up from caliper with syringe and left them a couple of hours then bled them the conventional way and still as soft as shite, lever comes back to throttle :( was hoping to go to weston bike night but that ain't looking likely now.........bugger

In other news, mystery still surrounds Carl's excessive fuel consumption...

I need to meet up with you guys and compare mine. They're standard, so it would give you a good baseline measurement to judge just how naughty you're being.

tbh we didn't sound test it like a trackday, we redlined it standing about 2 metres behind the bike at a 45 degree angle.
at a trackday the revs are held at 5k and the tester stands a metre behind and to the side of the bike with the microphone aimed downwards.
slappa your always welcome to meet up with us buddy.
today we was talking about going down to surrey and bugging yeti for a cuppa tea and biscuits, i'll drop him a p.m and find out when he's around...

Fuel consumption appears to me much better now (fingers crossed) since I cleaned carbs, swapped the main jets around the right way etc etc. Anyway it is runny like a little beauty at the moment, tickover 1100 1200rmp with no stuttering, pulls like a train and puts :biggrin on my face.

The more the merrier. Might as well make use of the db meter.

Fitted 3mm shock spacer...thought I'd give it a whirl. Seems to fall in with less effort, not that it took much effort in the first place. Only rode it about 5 miles so time will tell. Dont want it twitchy. TBH the main reason I did it was to further extend the reach from seat to pegs, more long distance comfort without spending £300 on something that looks like it should be 0% for 5 years at DFS. Plus I already had the standard seat padded up with an extra inch of padding, yet keeping the original cover. Must admit it does feel more ' roomy '. Hopefully I'll get the brake lines done at the weekend, then she's ready for Mugello !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
