Yes Chris they are the GT compound designed for heavier bikes like the FJ sports tourers Image

I don't know if the KTM is heavier than the FJ, or it just feels heavy because it's tall. But I didn't bother with the GT construction , my tyre shop said it was for the full fat Goldwing sized bikes

Those wheels look superb Duffers, you must be well chuffed with them.

+1 On those tyres, I had them on my RSV and they grip more than they should!

Thanks Duffy for the conformation on the exact tyres we're talking about, and the heads up on the GT compound

Now you have the new tyres fitted to your newly powdered coated wheels and the disc's too, I can say they look really good 8)

Thanks also to Al, Rob, and Jamoi for your vote of confidence on these tyres too  although they could be wasted on me

The FJ owners recommended the GT’s Al it is quite a heavy old school bike.

Well I bled the front brakes and fitted the front wheel just before it pi55ed down with rain. Image
I think they blend well with the colour of the bike. Image
