Cleaned her as I was out on her Saturday and didn’t get a chance to dry her properly and detail, all shiny again now. She will probably be going up for sale as I’ve put a deposit on a new GSX750S earlier today

Stripped down the high low beam switch, as it was sticking on high beam. The old grease in side had gone hard as candle wax. Taking it fully apart is not recommended as I found out
Warksd fine now though.

Pre MOT fiddle with Nue Red...
Full size plate...check.
Std H/L bulb...check.
Found the sidelight was not working so changed that.
Gave it a wipe over & fired it up...
Book the MOT for next Thurs...
Had a look at Custurd, the epoxy fix to the clutch cover has stopped the weep, It wasn't ground through but had a crack, so temp fix only.
Took the scuffed & bent bar end off as that was causing throtle to skick but think the clip on is bent...
Took the bagster cover off & noticed a cracking in the paint, closer inspection shows a rather large dent in the tank, basicaly the whole left side is pushed in so its now about a 14ltr tank...
Shame as it was a solid tank & I was gonna use it but hey ho thats life...

Yes, good to hear you're okay Mac and the damage to one of your fleet wasn't massively bad.
I damaged the ABS Sensor on the XSR when I had the front end apart to fettle the forks - then inadvertently put the front wheel back in the wrong way round (don't ask). I found a replacement sensor on eBay for £40 so today I took the damaged one off and replaced it with the new one and all now good. I don't rely on ABS but it has been bloody useful once or twice in winter so nice to have it back.

I've just spent the entire day greasing up AMCQ46s' nipples! While I was there, I gave his nuts a cheeky polish too
I haven't had the chance to do much tinkering on Al's GasGas since I've been doing up my house, but today I managed to get stuck in.
Rebuilt the rear wheel and anti seized the nipples, new tyres, tubes, rimlocks, chain/sprockets, handlebars, grips, fork guards, brake pads, gave the calipers a good lube etc. Polished a few nuts and bolts - It seems a bit pointless as it will get abused (as it should) but nice to start off clean and lubed.
Tomorrow I'll do a gear oil change, chuck some fresh petrol and 2 stroke in and go for a test ride before the mot next week.
Can't bloomin wait!

Thanks Chris. The garage WAS looking lovely and clean, but you should have seen the state of it after a full day of tinkering! I'm looking forward to getting the bike muddy again
You're right, perhaps we need a code word for l*be just in case Lloydie gets a little too excited
