Well yesterday, new oil pan is on new oil seals fitted to pan, powder coated swing fitted all rear end torqued up so far, all rear bearings have been replaced new shock fitted, new chain and sprocket kit plus rebuilt rear caliper with new piston... today will be fitting new Venhill rear brake line and bleeding.
Also bought some secondhand Titax levers at a great price going to tidy them up and fit.
So on target :D

The CCM contrasts nicely with the uncarpeted chipboard stand, I think.
If they sell one they can afford carpet next time!

Well it finally decided to be a nice day here so was able to get the bike closer to back on the road.

thought I had all the bits needed but found out I was sold the wrong bearings for my front wheel.

Image

So after getting that sorted......hybrid ceramic wheel bearings for a RC51 can be tough to find.......though the set for the rear was correct so after cleaning my wheels and giving them a fresh coat of wax.....

Image

Got the rear end back together

Image

Though I didn't take any pics of the fork build, they have new fork tubes & bushings, SKF green seals and of course fresh fluid and got them reinstalled
Image

Now just waiting for the correct bearings to show up..... 8)
