Fettled Hamburg as promised.

Clean,Lube & adjust chain.
Check oil level.
Check tyre pressures.
Swapped the tank over.
Fitted a Baglux cover.
Fitted an LED headlight.

Started stripping Claggy down, Just taking all the fluids out to start with.

Oil & coolent.

All the hydraulics, brakes & clutch.

Took the callipers off as well.

Covered it up as it's staying out side from now on.

Spanners, plus gas & hammers at the ready for tomorow...

Nothing actually fitted lately, but I've just bought a pair of R and G clutch and alternator covers for the 2 oh no for £75 delivered. Perfect condition with the correct fitting bolts, less than half price.
I have a couple of carbon bits to fit, and for the first time ever, a helicoil insert as I managed to strip an m6 fairing bolt thread in the frame.
Never needed a helicoil before, let's see what all the fuss is about...

today my nice heated grips arrived so they got fitted.R&G jobbies for £34 do the very job.

Smugly rode about on peggy to try the heated grips well toasty i have to say

bloody great things for old hands

Took out the long stack and fitted a short to make two shorts, removed the screw that somewhere in its life caused one of its previous owners to cut the corner off the air box lid (not sure why as with a decent screwdriver it came out fairly easily), checked the air filter, and got a shock spacer coming from a friend to speed up the lazy handling! Still getting used to having the replacement tyres on it, especially the 190 60 at the rear. Happy with the handing with the new fork oil and a tad extra preload. Shock spacer should finish it off.
