Went out on the newly fettled Tuono to see if the electronic repairs I made last week fixed the problem. They did.

The high clip ons feel better than the standard high bars.
But the airflow over the small screen now directs air at my ears- a few mm higher or lower would be ok- so I now need a new screen.
Slightly more concerning, there is clutch slip in fifth and sixth at full throttle 100 plus, so I'll be thinking about a new clutch...
At least I can fix those things with spanners instead of a laptop.

I'd like to see the Tuono with clipons Tony
I've been busy with making a removable seat pad for the Storm today. Usually there would just be a bit of foam stuck on the RS250 seat unit, but I wanted to make it removable so I can access the fuses etc.
I've made a seat base which clips into a latch, and also seals against the fairing to keep water out, it works really well! I've just got to cover it properly with foam.
Ignore the wiring mess!

That's a great job Jamoi. What are you using to release the latch? I've had half a thought about something similar but with the elbow pad rather than the seat base.

Cheers guys

it looks a bit rough and ready, but the finished article should be nicely done.
Nick, I think I used a KTM RC125 seat latch. The swivelling bracket I made from some sheet steel (2mm I think) and the connecting swivel bolts were from an MZ! Any seat latch of a similar style should work OK.

The filter should change that to elbow.

Straightened a few rows of radiator fins. Which is what I've done the last few times I found time to work on the bike. And what I'll be doing for the rest of the week at this rate.
