You dodged a bullet there Mac. 50 miles either side of a 12 hour night shift sounds a real drag. And, you are not getting any younger!

Indeed, makes it a 14hr day... Apparently there's a bed in the office as after 11pm it goes quiet so you can have a snooze & get paid for it
TBH I was more concernd about the fuel costs, You'd have to fill it every day...££££'s

Pulled 'em all out...
To get to the spares, I'd sent Frank in but he couldn't find the Item I wanted.
Ended up stripping it off one of the spares, which I will probably be braking up soon...
An Ignition for Ben's track Storm... Muppet lost the key...

Did a Fabio and actually rode the thing out for a coffee.
1st ride of the year so a bit of recalibration required
Then got the pit bike out from the bowels of the shed and got it going after a carb clean. Hoping to go out on track on Sunday, so untied the 1 piece leathers out too
Looks like last time out was late 2022 ….. eek

Had a bit of a wrestling match with the rusty flange on The Murvinator.
The nuts came off no problem, not standard ones so the studs had been changed sometime in the past...
It was so feckin rusty it was proper stuck... Big 'ammer & a cold chisel did the trick.
Then the new SS flange didn't fit as the studs were to big...
Bit of drilling & filing later jobs a good 'un.
Also stripped another set of callipers down but will clean up & rebuild another day...
Oh & Wax Storm got picked up & is on it's way to Devon... Some time soon as Luke/acrmnsm has broken an ankle Greenlaneing DOH!

Another trip out on The Murvinator, for yet another Interview...
This one was a bit closer only 25 miles...
04.00 hrs start tho for an 8hr shift... So I'd have to be getting out of bed 02.30 to get in gear in me head & gear up for the ride...
+ point less traffic at that time of morning... - point they like to close M ways & other roads overnight for maintenance.
On the way back on a Matrix board M2 overnight road works for the next 6 weeks... Doh.
The location could be got to via other routes I don't doubt but how far extra ?

I’ve been using the Translap on and off through the Autumn/Winter to get to work but I got out on the Storm today. Nearly 15 years in and still love the way it goes!
