Thank you Guys, its very much appreciated. I have worked out tonight i actually knew him longer than my own dad. I was proud to call him Dad and proud to be classed as his 7th Son and 1st Son in law. I will miss seeing him tomorrow wave us off when we leave. He,s done that for the last 38years.

So sorry to hear of your loss Paul, sounds like you have fantastic family support at this difficult time, stay strong fella and think of all the good times you had with him.

quick update. I've just received some photo's of the logbook from abroad.
time for me to eat sh1t, i'm not the registered keeper, I would swear I sent the logbook of for change of ownership. but the paperwork says differently. even tho I've been getting road tax reminders up until this year.
not sure what happens now, and i'm sh1tting myself in case I might have received and speeding or parking fines in the last 3 years....
I think another call to the dvla is on the cards, time for me to eat a massive humble pie.......

In relation to speeding fines mate I would not worry too much. In general there is a six month limit for the driver to be identified and information to be given to the courts. Given that you have been in spain for the last while I cannot imagine you would have many fines that would be enforcable. Has your bike even been ridden in the UK since september?

Well i spent another 2 hours in the freezing cold yesterday,
Started from scratch, removed everything, stood there looking at
all parts concerned and gave them all a stern talking too.
Then i tried every combination possible and got them as best as i could,
Then i stripped the bolt holding the middle exhaust connection off the
rear downpipe
so its now got a nut on the back !

Them Harris pipes have give me hell
But what a sound !

Hitting a pheasant at 80 , tbe wombles jumped up out the hedge ,I ducked and tried to move out its way but it hit me full on 'on my left shoulder .
Kept control but only just .
Though I'd broken my arm it hurt that much .
wombles hate them wombles birds , I take great pleasure squashing them with the van to get revenge [WINKING FACE]
