+1 i did a rocker cover on my old capri yrs back and it changed when it got heat thro it, try it with a hot air gun if you have one

It will darken as it fully cures which will take 24 hours and being VHT probably needs the heat to set it off.

Hot air gun is a good idea but knowing BSM he will overdo and strip the paint back off.
The VHT Crinkle paint requires the use of heat ie hot air gun to get the crinkle effect. And each coat should be applied in different directions.

I don't know if you would actually need vht paint for the rocker covers, I used standard hammerite silver on my gs's cylinders and it's coped no probs for six months now
A good etch primer is needed though!

Within a millisecond your freshly painted heads would vibrate onto the floor and achieve the surface look of a lunar landscape! With the added benefit of bits of grass/fagends/kentucky buckets becoming attached with superglue like ferocity.
