Some of the lads said they could hear it when they were behind me going down the M40 the other day. I was wondering why there was a bit of distance between us.

They look mint Carl I think a good set of pipes make all the difference in a bike!

I live on a route to a Wednesday night biker cafe night and you can tell the sound of a big v-twin with decent exhausts on! Sound awesome when I hear them thrashing it, our lass thinks I'm daft (she don't get it)

Mine sound awesome but I never hear them from a distance (for some reason)

Had a Lazy day, woke up feeling ruff so just walked round in my pants most the day and did nothing.

Mine sounds so much better now with the Pipercross and bigger jets in with the Yoshi Exhausts

Couldn't be arsed adjusting the mixture screw so will either do it tonight when i get home in the early hours or early in the day tomorrow, also gota take pics of Hot Grip routeing for Chris r

Changed my regulator/rectifier for a large finned CB125 one, straightened my hugger using a metal brace (just me being anal about stuff being level) and replaced some fasteners with stainless ones :D

Snap! I did exactly the same last night! When compared, I couldn't believe how small the standard is!

Drilled 6 x 5mm holes in the stock cans to make it sound a bit fruitier. Could probably do with being a bit bigger but will try it out tomorrow and see....

Not spending loads to replace the damaged Blueflames but worried about K&N @ Dynojet and standard cans. Although to be fair it runs fine, just too damned quiet!

Finally found a spare half Hour to fit my new iridium double bubble screen courtesy of Vtrkidda. Didn't think I'd like the look of it too much but it was a chance to try out a cheap double screen.
To be honest though, I think it's an improvement on the original so it's here to stay
Also, very proudly, stuck my grainstorm sticker on :D

What's making you need to change the mixture screw mate?

That iridium double bubble screen has got a nice carbon footprint as well. Wasn't that originally BSM's Looks good Murv and your doing Mac proud with the sticker. Don't you think the screen looks like the scales of a fish the way the colours move around.

Scott you will be surprised the difference even a 16th of a turn can make on mixture when fine tuning.

Fitted a k&n filter and fiddled with the jet kit.
Combined with the long stacks I fitted at the weekend and the tps that I set to 500 ohms, makes a big difference to the way it runs.

Much smoother yet more responsive, the tps setup alone stopped the spluttering at low revs and part throttle.

Went out for a long run around the pennines, now covered in dead flies.

Superb. Just keep you visor down where fly's are concerned :eek2 It's surprising the difference the TPS can make. What did you mange to get set at, dead on 500? Fiddly bloody job that.

Tell me about it, spent a couple of hours on it. Had to cut down my t25 torx key so it'd fit between the tps and frame. Then found the slots too short, took out the metal clips and managed to get it at 502.
