yesterday was mental busy for me, carl, and my mate chris...aka the mechanic
befrore they arrived i striped the bodywork of the bikes ready to complete a long list of jobs
heres what we achieved
re-routed and repaired the wiring loom
semi repaired the o/s rearset
fitted new chain
fitten new kill switch
fitted new undertray and rear led lights...(bastid of a job)
had another tinker with the carbs
set the tps to bang on 500
fitted a different bottom to the airbox
fitted a new 100% brighter headlight bulb
fitted a freshly painted front subframe
i also got the chance to tighten all the fixings on the fairing and sort out the indicators
the only things we couldn't do was the 19ltr tank conversion, this was my fault tho because i needed to buy a certain part and i couldn't find one at short notice, still i hope to sort it out next week.
we also run out of time and didn't get a chance to repair the minor damage to the exhaust.
carl and chris were fantastic, i even got to see carls fish impressions
i'm over the moon because i have a fuel warning light for the first time
and fingers crossed no more blown fuse's
in fact i'm just about to finish bolting the screen and fairing lowers back on....
thanks again lads for all your help...
