Wife broke her tibia and fibula today things cant get much worse atm
She was to be my carer next tuesday when i go in for a new knee
Only need that after they messed up my femur

Fecking hell mate, you and the mrs are having a tough time, hope it gets better soon

Geez macdee your leg sounds like mine but I have some time before they offer me a knee replacement. Ealing hospital screwed my femur repair up the 2nd time I broke it. Now if your mrs has broke the opposite leg you may be OK as you can strap each leg together use one set of crutches and walk as one.

Have to postpone knee op for a month or two till the wife gets better shes not able to walk with crutches and not really coping with the thought of going under the knife
Two real bad breaks hopefully get sorted tomorrow

riding to Essex to collect a nice shiny ventura rack set up, with grab rail, small luggage rack and large luggage rack, only to spend 30 mins fitting it and finding out it won't quite fit with the carbon fibre akrapovic exhaust hanger FFS!!!
not sure if I can still make it fit, had to ride back using a few cable ties and gaffa tape, it must have made the exhausts move a bit, as the exhaust was popping and banging like a good'un. I rather liked that hahahaha

Got the wee woman home yesterday all good but the hospital wouldnt let her go home untill i got a wheelchair
We asked for a hospital wheelchair but were told they had none
So were told to ask the red cross who then had to get last one from another town
What a carry on

Get s some roller skates and a give her a piggy back...sorted What is the country coming too when they can't supply a wheelchair. What about crutches

Look after her mate it's going to be hard for the first couple of weeks especially if she's not mobile and up on crutches and managing to keep some independence. Your going to be at her beck and call for everything. And consider yourself lucky you have a chipolata. It's easy for us to have a piss in a bottle. I'm guessing she's going to want be dosed up and sleeping for most of time fighting the pain. I don't have to tell you, you know what it's like. Argh man..I'm feeling it. Been there know what it's like. I was lucky I had a supply of puff as that's the best painkiller and entertainer all in one. Easy to drift in and out of conciousness then.
