Look after her mate it's going to be hard for the first couple of weeks especially if she's not mobile and up on crutches and managing to keep some independence. Your going to be at her beck and call for everything. And consider yourself lucky you have a chipolata. It's easy for us to have a piss in a bottle.
I'm guessing she's going to want be dosed up and sleeping for most of time fighting the pain. I don't have to tell you, you know what it's like. Argh man..I'm feeling it. Been there know what it's like. I was lucky I had a supply of puff as that's the best painkiller and entertainer all in one. Easy to drift in and out of conciousness then.
I Carl she can't use crutches not enough upper body strength
That would be so much easier too
She's over the bad bit and I can see the pain isn't as bad as it was
She's pretty tough
When she fell she wanted to go home and made me help her to the car 70 yards away
With a broken ankle then when the pain really hit home she listened and let me take her to the hospital
As said she will be fine
Just needs to do the time

can't get the horn to work on my bike, and it needs an mot next week.......

Check to see if it is the hooter by putting direct from the batt...use a couple of bits of wire...If the hooter works its the switch.
If it is the hooter pop over Frank has a couple in stock.
Switch I can't help with... Other than to try one off one of the other bikes.
Pop over Sat/Sun sometime...just let me know when your planning.

cheers for the offer mac, it's not the hooter, as I've tried 3 and I know they all work. which means it looks like the switch in the lhs switchgear. haven't seen a late late model one of these for sale in a while...
just had a thought, I sprayed the lower yoke, I wonder if it's a bad earth because of the paint.

i think when you press the button you actually make the earth as its a constant live. Check supply to the horn and take a cable from the other side to earth it will sound i think. I may be wrong. I haven't got a wiring diagram anymore though. Its probably from the switch to he horn i bet.

I only plan on gently prizing the casing apart and blasting the insides with a whole can of electrical contact cleaner tony. it's a last resort before trying to find a replacement

...that shed is so uncomfortable in the straight jacket and creepy with the handcuffs and chains on the wall. Oh well, I'm all charged up.
