Today I have been taking off wheels and bald tyres from my spare bike and swapping them onto my proper one, fitting horrible standard silencers and disconnecting the integral indicators in the rear light.
Yes, it's MOT time again.....

Spare bike was wearing Diablo Corsa 3's, it'll be interesting to see what they run like.

Also popped the top off a spare engine, some work needed in due course, when I have a spare 10 minutes, maybe an overbore, dunno how much yet

Today Im caked in black oil greasy muck. Finally took to cleaning off the muck from the previous owner. There was alot of crud around the bottom and degreasing it wasnt too easy, had the stand off and cleaned up and reassembled, the mag chain guard off and all cleaned out.

I used some wheel cleaner in the swingarm aswell, but its left some white marks, any tips here?

Got the dremel out on the rear sets and passenger pegs, got them all presentable but one particuarly good. Ran out of polishing wheels on my Dremel so its all packed away for next weekend.

Tips for working on the alloy greatly received!!

Best tip for polishing alloy?
Take it to a metal polishing company, go out and have a beer.
Pick it up in a day or so, lacquer and refit.

Bought Sportsmarts now on my own wheels, so it'll be interesting to compare the two tyres back to back.

I'll leave the wheels with Corsa's on until the paint flaking off the rims- probably before w/e after next's workshop day :D
Gotta get the Sportsmarts scrubbed in before that ride.

Put a new set of NGk's in her; was a monster of a job because I had just filled the friging fuel tank up.

why do we always want to do things to our bikes at the most bizarre times.

MoT'd it, sailed through, but now I have to put the illegally loud cans back on.

And fitted manuals for a new member-to-be name of Gurj.

It was meant to be a day off!
