Guy came this morning, chained it to a car transporter and took off.

If anyone wants any SP-Y stuff I've got a few bits left over:

Power commander (no instructions and no pwer connector).

Full set of bodywork in OK condition, will need respray

The power commander lead is just a std Mini USB to USB lead available from any good electrical retailer and all the instructions and software is free to download at powercommander.com along with a good dozen or so maps to play with.
Don't do yourself down on price on those grounds

Disconnecting the PC from the electronics was easy. The connections were easy to get at.

However there is another two wire connection, which connects into the loom somewhere behind the LH radiator. I couldn't be bothered to strip the whole thing down (too bloody cold for one thing!) so I just cut it as close to the end as I could. Having done that the bike wouldn't start, so I soldered the two wires together, protected them with shrink wrap stuf and everything worked fine.
I'm assuming therefore that its some sort of power connection, maybe linked into the ignition.

The bike had much more bark and was more reponsive to throttle opening without the PC, but then the whole reason for having it was to tame the bottom end so that it could be ridden through town more easilly.

Not sure how much its worth. I'm thinking £50????

Logged onto the Kawasaki Owners site a couple of days ago. The response has been "muted". More accuratley bugger all, so I'll stick aroun d for a while if I'm allowed.

In any case youngest son's mate has a Storm. Some of you (Pete perhaps) might remember him. He was the guy who joined us on a run a couple of years ago with a 400 Baby Blade. So I'm sort of qualified.......

£50 is more than fair. They're £270 new. I'd expect someone to snap your arm off at that price or at least raid their kiddies piggy bank

I remember the run well. You and you lad showed me the way home without touching a motorway after the Storm gathering around Brum. Excellent ride and watching the way the 400 went into bends I was sure he didn't have any brakes .
I'll see if I can dig out an old pic some where. I also seem to remember some leathers which were louder than most peoples pipes

The leathers came from Iggy and I've still got them. Should be about September by the time I can get into them again (if the diet goes to plan!).

Hopefully we'll get to meet up again some time this year.

I remember the lad on the 400 as well, it did'nt seem to matter how quick I exited a corner and gunned it . I could not seem to put a great deal of distance between us , he was pretty quick

Bloody hell I though my time was up. Up was the word I went up up up and near over the tank bag, and that was after scrubbing off a fair bit of speed
When we stopped the next time, the lad who was behind me said he never laughed so much, as when he saw me going up up, and nearly away Then he said it dawned on him that he was next for the jump.

That was a good weekend, mind you the a-se was a bit sore by the time I got home on the Monday. (no filthy comments from those who make them ).

Can you remember all of those who were there and their names?
