Yes I can certainly vouch for the quality of the kit, pretty easy to fit the hardest part being releasing the security screws holding the ignition switch in place. After that straight forward.
makes the riding position much more comfortable and great for levering the bike around in tight spaces.
Go on you know you want too!!

Your conversion looks great. I fitted helibars to my 03 and they made a bit of difference but there is still too much weight on my wrists on long rides. What you have done would definately solve the problem. I'm a little confused regarding the fairing modification - what's a 'dremel', how much did you have to cut off?, do you then have to repaint the fairing? - and finally could a non mechanically minded Aussie with no idea of what a dremel is do the job?

Cheers

they look great, I went for the VFR conversion lately, done my first decent run on paddys day about 100 km and joy no pains or numbness, only thing though is they dont give the same feedback as the clipons, would like to try comfort bars to see if there is a difference, wind was a bit more noticeable too but double bubble should take care of this, are they cheaper than Genmar? btw way yours look better than the vfr conversion but that is my opinion

Got some VFR800 clip ons coming for £30 the pair!
Much cheaper option than the comfort bars but if they don't make much difference I will maybe try risers as well like theses on ebay

liking the look of the straight bars, i shall be going this route by drilling the top yoke and attaching risers, much cheaper option.

I had the ABM kit on my old ZZR1100. Quality kit and really improved the riding position. I think I may go down this route if I have any issues with the standard set up, but as I have only done about 100 miles so far I don't know yet!

Cutting the fairing was easy, don't be firghtened. The end results are well worth it.
