get the interior valeted and change any filters regarding to the aircon, or use one of those aircon bomb/cleaner thingys to get rid of the smell.....

chuck a load of bicarb around the whole thing, especially if cloth seats, leave a bit then vac up. Repeat.

or get a smelly dog

+1 on the valet but have it deep cleaned...dog smell is the worst smell in a car..you'll be servicing it so you'll change the air filter anyway but check if it has pollen filters fitted,they're mostly overlooked on a service because most don't know they have them...my sister uses fabfresh car air freshners too which should help with any remaining smell

Now the dogs ain't travelling in it any more they will need something else to feed from.

Fleas can sit around for months without feeding, but as soon as you get in the car......munch time!
