Given that you have come in to this thread rather late with your well thought out and erudite contribution, you didn't see the post I objected to as it was removed. I didn't specifically say all asylum seekers had a black skin, but I think you might find that the asylum seeking father of FM was and is black, in fact. However, by defintion, all asylum seekers will be from a different country, won't they?

I had actually left this particular thread to peter out and suggest you do the same. You don't seem to have the mental capacity to make a cogent argument after all and instead resort to personal abuse.

£3.25 the quad tax has gone up as if £130 a year for it was not taking the piss anyway

£6240 them basterds take off me directly and thats not including all the taxes added on to everything i pay for. I reckon i probably work 8 months a year just to pay them bunch of arseholes who come up with stupid sodding rules to make my life as difficult as possible I dont have kids, i avoid the doctors like the plague worked since leaving school paid all my dues and then proceed to get ceremoniously shagged by the goverment whilst the (supposedly) thick kids i was in school with run around shagging anything that moves and getting pissed stoned and enjoying any other out of body experiance you can think of and get paid for it by the likes of me and you, god help any public service worker or doleite who comes near me today they are liable to get kicked firmly in the nuts

god its hard being open minded. i agree with nearly all of jonesy,s last post. i visit loads of punters who would get a nosebleed if you asked them to do a days work!. bleating on cos they cant play games on their eggbox as quick as they would like !

then i got one of my daughters who i encouraged to work hard at school, and did, and ended up with a rake of qualifications ending in a degree (not a lot of use round here, but she put the work in) and she cant get a job for love or money and is made to feel like a criminal when she signs on for her 50 quid a week! which as she lives in a rented flat with her bloke who has to work about 40 or 50 hours a week on min wage is not enough unless i help her out!
theres even fake scam recruitment agencies who have promised her work on the proviso she gives them her bank details! luckily shes not daft enough but these gits were obviously trying to scam her.
i feel sorry for kids in her position.

I have always paid my way and get heartily sick of hearing about or seeing people just taking the piss and playing the system. Luckily both my children have half decent jobs and they pay their way too (with a little help from Dad now and then, but that's fine) because they were brought up, not dragged up without any consideration or responsibility. They both knew discipline, though neither had a hand laid on them (son may have had the odd smack when he was little, but not much).

I have two bikes and two cars, all sit on my property. In total the road tax is nearly £600, but I can only ride/drive one at a time.

If the cost went on fuel then no-one could avoid paying as you have to have fuel to go anywhere. Another thing - uninsured drivers. There is a national database, so link this to the CCTV cameras on petrol forecourts so that the pump won't dispense fuel unless your vehicle is insured.

Aha, in that case, I have an addition to my cunning plan. Many foregn vehicles get away with speeding and unpaid parking fines. Link these databases too et voila no pay, no fuel. Payment station at each forecourt, garage owner gets a cut (because the poor sods don't make much out of fuel sales anymore) and jobsa good'un.

small wonder people get outraged and make comments when we are faced with things like that.

this country is way too soft on asylum seekers - there are way too many loopholes in the laws concerning immigration and an illegal immigrant playing the asylum card is given way too many rights.
and too much in benefits.... then it costs the taxpayer a fortune in legal bills to try and get them out.

and dont get me started on road tax - after it has just been revealed that only 13.5% of road tax actually goes back into the roads.

How precisely is this country too soft on asylum seekers. I would love to see an eloquent argument for this case which does not involve stereotyping, racial ignorance or urban mythology i.e. they take all our benefits and tax money. Any such argument would be refuted and exposed as exactly what it is, ignorance.
Before anyone else seeks to condemn me for my stance , let me quickly give you a horrendous example of the attitudes of some so called British patriots to an migrant.....no this story does not mean that all Brits are ignorant but it does illustrate is the hurt felt by decent human beings not only doing what they see as right for themselves, but for this country.
My great grandfather came to these shores in 1902, penniless but with a will to improve his and his family's lives. He was persecuted in his own country for his religious beliefs and unfortunately suffered the same fate in Scotland. This decent, hard working and brave man enlisted in the forces in 1914, becoming one of the very first pilots for the Royal Flying Corp (now the RAF). He was not allowed to eat with fellow officers, had to sleep outside, was routinely ridiculed by his comrades in arms and never knew if they would have his back in times of crisis. This man died in France in 1917 in a flying accident while instructing other pilots, British pilots. He was never mentioned in dispatches or even awarded a medal. His wife received not a penny in pension because he was a Polish Jew, proud to call himself British. Now hang your heads in shame all those who even hint at the apportioning any of this countries woes to asylum seekers. Look up the meaning of the damn word and instead feel pride that we have learned from the days I've just highlighted.
