+1 on the high temp silicone.

I'm surprised you managed with the left, I had all sorts of problems when trying it with Microns. I'm liking the angle you got there. I would say it's better than mine as you have more space for indi's.

Sorry about the skanky red extra slow polo and the obligatory bins, weathers been to cack to get any decent pics :-(
No worries for the background mate, we only care about the bike
Thanks for the recommendation, I will look into this as well. your stubby looking great, did you weld it back?

Not really mate, I checked for clearance and test ride it for couple hours the day after, no issues ;)

Boot burning time
I have that with mine a little. I just need to watch I don't rest my heel too far back on the peg. It's not as bad now since fitting the Harris rearsets as they are a tad higher up.

Surprisingly to me as well, the left side rotated up naturally to the exact position I was planning on having due to the angle of the connecting pipe. The best part was that I didn't even have to bend the exhaust bracket.
On the right I had to bend it slightly cause the exhaust had to spin few degrees clockwise to take this position. The exhaust holding bracket I made from a 2 millimeter thick 4 feet long aluminum piece I got for $12 at a local hardware store and cut & bend it per length and position. I eventually probably replace these pipes anyway, just haven't decided what i will get. I took another picture from the back, here it is:

I like the angle of the cans, how they angle in towards each other a bit. That picture just goes to show how much longer mine are, as my outlet is right underneath the base of the indicator stem. I shall be putting mini indicators either side of the plate on a tail tidy. For now, I have had to use the sloped style fairing indi's.

Predator have been around for a good few years mate, they have started selling bikes now as well as doing exhausts and repairs.
If you get any problems they are just down the road from me in Welwyn Garden City.
I have Scorpion High levels on mine and like them a lot, never had any problems keeping up with the reprobates on here when we have been out for a ride.

The only reason I get the odd boot burn "or should I say melt  " is because of the SP1 slanted pipe. My left link pipe near enough rests on the bottom of the swingarm it's that close to the pegs. :eek2 The standard or gooseneck links will be fine

Had scorpion high mounts on mine the early type ones, I used to burn the heels some times when I first got them when cursing down the motorway, took a while to adjust foot position to suit but loved the look

Mmmm, Was that with a straight pipe or the gooseneck? It is something to be aware off when buying/making exhausts.

Oh yes I remember now. I didn't realise you boots would catch though. Mines right up behind the pegs on a more upward angle :eek2 It's not so bad since the new rearsets but still not good.

That's a nice off-roader, I did wonder about the 421.

Yeh was the number I used for racing, people would turn up with number 7's and 1's and all that and have to change them because some one else registered it first on the day, but no one ever turned up with 421 stuck on there bikes,
got a pic of the RM250 with it on somewhere but can't bloody find it

Not welded... Just drilled the rivets out, pulled them apart, cut loads off:evil:, re-wrapped them, beat back together and re-rivet, easy as that.....almost lol, they do sound awesome as well :-)
