Hi John,
Change up into 2nd gear as soon as possible I find best. You then want to make use of the torque, there's no need to rev the bike in every gear to the redline, that's not what these bikes are about IMHO.

Hi John,
If we do get some good weather again and I remember

I'll give you a shout when I'm out and a bit nearer to where you live so you can have a listen
My can's are Scorpions, there are not obnoxiously loud in my opinion.
Chris.

My cans are from Powertechperformance and look look superb and are bloody loud (they did pass the MOT with them in and a £10.00 popped into the fitters pocket, well worth it. I do however keep the 2 baffles in a cloth under the seat with the 2 small bolts and tell Mr Policeman that ive just bought them and am off home to fit them. But you can drive sedately through town and i havent been picked up yet. remember LOUD CANS SAVE LIVES oh and sound the Dogs

most important.

did you get your r/r fixed buddy, its on the rhs of the rear subframe, you'll need to take the rear fairing off to get to it.
btw, i was just thinking about your forum username. most members use a name thats got some hidden meaning, i'm thing your first name is john, thats simple enough.
but the last name is an abbreviation of cross dresser......cresser........
is there something your trying to tell us...

Are you referring to the trim clips on the bottom sides of the tail fairing or cowl as you may call it. The plastic screws in the centre are not threaded as such and wont undo like a screw. You can use a screwdriver but don't put any pressure on them, just gently undo them until they come out slightly and pick them out with you nail or something. You should then be able to pull the clip out. The screw just forces outwards three prongs on the clip which holds the fairing in place. It will all make sense to you after you get the first one out.
The R/R is on the front right hand side on the outside on the subframe near the battery. It will have a multiplug connector on it with 5 wires.
