What's happened to the inspection cap on from the genny cover.

Bike is looking great keep it up......and you will end up with a completely White bike. :plainsmile

(:-})
Caps always been silver? and i did consider having it all white but the red paint work was so good, i couldn't warrant changing it really.

I have had the Motografix gear on most of my bikes but they don't make Firestorm rears anymore so there off of a SP1 I've just wrapped them round a bit. I like it.

I have to admit that when I swapped bars I didn't drill new holes to locate the alignment pegs for the throttle or switches. I just filed the pegs off and then I can clamp them wherever I want....they still don't move, the peg is just a redundant location incase the screws come loose. So as long as you remember to tighten things up you will be just fine

Fitting other master cylinders with out the pots are better .
With the rotation of the bars you have to compromise as to far Back the switches hit the tank ! To far forward and you have to remove more fairing and it feels uncomfortable

She's looking very good Paul 8) 8)

The fairing being trimmed definitely does not look out of place.

Obviously Lloydie doesn't like that bellypan, so when you do change it you best flog it to me

Fork paint was normal etch primer, left to go off for 12 hrs as directed, then i used Rustoleum Hard Hat Gloss Black in the end. I then hung them in my airing cupboard for 2 days!!! and got the missus some choccies and a bottle of 'Fenjal" as a softener ( she didn't drink it)

Yep thats bang on. I liked the slightly more dipped down feel and i didn't feel safe without them located with the bolts holes. Its all a matter of preference and i have no intentions now of getting rid of it so I've done it to suit me. WP shock on soon and then hopefully a belly pan i like!!!!

Ive used "Rustoleum" paint for years and its always been good. I don't really like Hammerite I've got loads of half cans where i can't get the paint out and i always invert the can and spray after using.
