The stock spring rate is .585 kg/mm and as you say way too soft and not linear.NZSpokes wrote:Im on .95 and im 102kg. Stock is .56 from memory. Way to soft.

Re: Front Fork Advice Needed
I am 12.5st and when kitted up am probably a bit over the 13st mark but these springs seemed to work ok with me on board, but maybe the preload was wound in a bit to compensate.sirch345 wrote:I'm using 0.85 fork springs, I weigh just over 13st (80.5kgs) kitted up and that suits me fine.thunderbolt wrote:PLEASE EXPLAIN !!! Re: Front Fork Advice Needed
I weight roughly 72-80 kg (11.5 st) and was recommended 0.85kg/mm linear springs measuring in total including spacer 410mm. If a spring is longer or shorter than this then adjust the spacer accordingly. This is which is what I used in the Fork Service Guide along with 7.5w oil and an air gap of 140mm.

I would say that .95 is about perfect for your weight. Don't forget to include full riding gear in with that weight.I am 12.5st and when kitted up am probably a bit over the 13st mark but these springs seemed to work ok with me on board, but maybe the preload was wound in a bit to compensate.
