I rode it into town twice and to Hertfordshire to my in-laws with it connected by just one bolt
No air leaks now though, all holding firm, but no happy ending from the father in law. Thankfully.

after snapping a few drill bits i snotted some weld on the snapped bolt filed a flat,drowned with penetrating fluid for luck and spannered it out? a lot cheaper than drill bits and easy outs? if you can access an arc welder or mig?? i know how frustrating it is before you get the bas---d thing out??
