Offer to take her with you. That's what I'm doing for the NI run, which falls on the weekend of my 65th and my wife's 60th birthdays.
All I had to do is book us into a spa hotel so she had something to do while I'm off riding, job done, box ticked.

Now full, we have 12 going, sleeping arrangements to be sorted as we know it’s 2 singles and a double, this leaves 2 people over as I’m sure no one wants to share a double (except Chris and Michaela).. I will bring my large cushions that open out to mattress, I have 2 of these so all will be good.
Looking forward to it now, 3 months to go
