Paul, once the leather is worn in a bit i imagine it will be easier to put on, and by that time you will have lost some weight and again, this will help.

Weight loss gained by crapping yourself every time you realise how fast you are going.

won't help the leathers to smell to good though, i'd try Kaz's aroma oils for that.
