As it is now,ive got lock to lock less couple of mil. at maximum. but still needs a bit of repositioning,so should be able to retain full lock when done.(Its where the lower fairing meets up near the tank that its close, up at the top near screen i got loads of room to play with,so just need to position a bit more)
Maybe move nearer to front mudgaurd by 3 or 4 mill, and that will give me a nice straight line along bottom of the bike too.

Now then Marlbroman (now thats a Hull saying if ever i heard one)
if you look at the 2 pics i am going to post i think you can see that the fairing needs dropping slightly on yours (i know you need to make final adjustments) i say this because on yours you can see alot of the upper fork leg and in the pic its covered quite alot. But then again you might want it like that

ps looks good btw

Yep, had allready reckoned on lowering everything quite a bit more, was looking at the pic from before aswell at distance to front wheel from fairing.
today was just a quick fit just to see where i stand though.
Just wondering, if you found another picture,is there a link to the bike somewhere on this site,or do you know the owner???
Not gunna get chance to do anything now untill next thursday, when i`ve got 6 day`s off work. But no rush, cant ride when im at work driving buses for a living!!!

Well, ive been at it again in the cold!!!!
Ive been and purchased a second hand fireblade clock/fairing front bracket (£15), and it fits straight on the original brackets on the front of frame.
I mounted headlight and parking light in,and offered the lot up to see how everything fits up with blade bracket fitted.
Doesnt seem to far out at all and as it is it looks tight with brake and clutch cylinder on top of bars, but with double buble screen i got my eye on,everything should clear as is.
Now next job when im off on thursday is to make some brackets up for fastening lowers and some to fasten near top of radiator`s on each side.
Some more pics to keep you going

When i get these brackets made, next job will be to make a template of the firestorm clocks and make an alloy back plate with mounting holes to suit, and then attach this to the flat plate where the fireblade clocks originally go (the plates different size plus different pattern for holes to line up)
But on the whole, Looking good.
