today i put the bottom fairing back on, and somehow lost balance and stabbed the upper fairing near the lower mount bolt and took off a flake of paint, small like but it pissed me off.
How do i sort that out? its smaller than pinhead the chip, can i just buy a black paint stick from halfords and apply it direct?

With the touch up paints, it's likely to make it look worse as they are not easy to apply neatly. One of those wax sticks like you get with the magic wax would be better, but unfortunately they are hard to come by on their own, so nick

the wax stick of a bottle. So if it's only small the only other option is do as BSM suggested and disguise it.

Fitted cbr900 front end. Still waiting on the danmoto adjustable clipons but I had a day free so I thought I'd get it done.
Hit a bit of a snag fitting the HISS ignition barrel and the reciever thing on top yoke. I had to file the yoke down to fit the thick ignition barrel through. Also had to saw the receiver down so that it sits flush on the top of the yoke and stuck it down with araldite (hopefully I wont have to get it off again).
Just waiting for clipons now, as I don't have much steering lock
The front calipers are catching a fair bit, does anybody know if these need spacers adding? I seem to recollect this.

What forks do you have ?
Do they have an adjuster below the calliper mounts ?
I get full lock with my cbr900 front end has yours been reduced at all ?

Yes interesting technique, how are you going to spray the inside of the frame.

Or are you just putting the bike to sleep for while.

It's Xmas wrapping paper from £1 shop lol .
I did put a heated sheet over it for a few hours to warm the frame up so the paint would adhere better to it
I'm not painting the in side as it won't be seen . Plus the engine won't come out :-(
