Seat cowl is simple, but do your research on the undertray and belly pan as there are many different kinds. Have a look what others have and the pro and cons of each one. And if your in no hurry I'm sure something will pop up in the sales and wants section cheaply enough for you. But yes as BSM said it never ends once you start.

Today i have been mostly fitting my Ohlins shock and new chain and sprockets, did a bit of crud shifting whilst i had the chance as well.
The shock was easy enough but i hate fitting chains as i never feel i have peened the rivets over enough even though i have.
Tomorrow i will finish the cleaning and fit my new hugger then build the back end back up.
Jobs done to date - Hyper pro front springs, Ohlins rear shock, New C & S, Wheels tidied up.
Jobs remaining - New Puig screen, New Hugger, New Stainless brake lines and pads, New Number plate and a few cosmetic touches to liven it all up a bit.
That'll do for this year unless father christmas suprises me !
i'll post Photos at the weekend

Well today I decided to swap out my K&N for my BMC Street filter so I had to Play with the jetting on my carbs. :biggrin I figured I should just drop the mains slightly from 180/182 to 178/180 and adjust the mixture accordingly. While the carbs where off I also got around to finally fitting my GLSR Choke bolts instead of the horrid Honda plastic ones.

My carb set up now is as follows:
BMC Street Filter
Front carb
178 main
48 pilot
needle clip 4th from the bottom
A/F 2.5 turns out
standard emulsion tube

Rear carb
180 main
48 pilot
needle clip 3rd from the bottom
20thou Shim added
A/F 2.1/4 turns out

Started the bike, warmed her up and she runs beautifully. Nice responsive throttle and RPM needle, though there is a slight hang just above 1000rpm where I have the idle speed set so mixture is a tad lean but nothing to worry about. I will get it spot on at some stage.

I then went for a good 15min ride to get the bike up to normal running temp came back and balanced my carbs. Got it spot on and the throttle is even more smooth and responsive now. So went for another ride and the biike is running better than ever. Pulls like a train and wants to rip my arms out of their sockets. :D I can easily do a power wheelie now :biggrin I did almost loose it at one stage giving it a bit too much power on cold tyres when I went over some spilt mud or something in the road. Back wheel decided to swing about a bit which is allright, I don't care where the back goes so much, as I can control that, but it was a little warning to be careful. If it was wet or icy it would have been a different story.

So bike runs like a dream. I got back home and decided it was about time It had a wash and wax. I have also got some new cleaning products here I have been waiting to try out.

Got my two buckets one for clean soapy water and one for dirty water, both with grit-guards in the bottom and my wash mit. I used 3M car shampoo for the first time which has a nice cherry fragrance to it.

I used Bilt Hamber auto wheel http://www.bilthamber.com/auto-wheel-1 on the wheels and as it is designed for the wheels I figured it would be OK for the brakes as well, so gave them all a good coating of spray and left it to soak for 10mins. By then I could see where it hard turned purple where it has removed any iron particle. I gave the wheels and callipers a bit light agitation with a brush before rinsing. This stuff is truly impressive, it's one of those, it does what it says on the tin kind of things. I would highly recommend this stuff. If anyone want to read a review on it there is a good one here http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... p?t=261074

I wanted to get rid of the muck from around my rear shock area and engine so decided to give my Bilt Hamber surfex HD degreaser http://www.bilthamber.com/cleaning-and- ... /surfex-hd a go. Yes I have become a bit of a Bilt Hamber fan  This stuff can be used watered down but I sprayed it on neat on my engine casings and around the shock area. This stuff is seriously powerful and I got to say After wards I wish I had diluted it  It has left my engine casing's and shock area spotlessly clean but has left a white residue over it :eek2 and it don't look too pretty. I will have to wipe all the casings down with WD or something at some stage.

I then washed and dried the bike and gave the paintwork a coating of Wet Glaze 2.0. I bought this because I liked the idea of it being able to be used on top of any previous protective coatings, also it is OK to put different coatings on top of this, so basically it can be applied at any stage. It also has the other benefit of containing fillers which should fill any swirls or light scratches. I'm not impressed with this stuff at all. It easy enough to apply and wipe off/polish up, but the finish is not all that great. In all honesty I am a little disappointed with it and wont be purchasing any more. Also when it came to me washing out my applicator pad, it's not the easiest stuff to wash out and stains the pad purple. It also has a slight petroleum feel and smell to it. Not nice.

I then got my tried and trusted, and I love this stuff, Bilt Hamber Hydra-wax http://www.bilthamber.com/wax-and-polishes/hydra-wax which is the dogs nuts. Another product I would highly recommend. Very easy to apply and polish off. It smells good enough to drink as it has an exotic fruit juice type smell to it. Mmmm Sounds strange but if your polishing/wax product has a nice smell to it, then it makes the whole experience a lot more pleasurable. It also does what it's supposed to do and leaves the paintwork with an exceptionally high quality shine and protects it from the elements.

Sorry no pics as I just didn't bother. I may get some tomorrow if needs be.

That will be the best £12 spent then. You will notice a difference straight away, but after a while you will be so used to it and it will feel no different from normal.

The rubber on the stick coils work very well at holding them in place with no wobble. Just pull it down just below the cam cover.
