Finished fitting my Oxford heated grips and took it out for a run. Temp was 4 degrees so it was cold, but the grips didn't keep my finger ends from going numb. I need some wind deflectors - anyone any ideas?
'twas a nice run though - clear blue skys, roads dry, bike running rock-on !

Didn't someone recently fit some motorcross hand protection/wind deflectors. There's a thread somewhere regarding it.

Today I've had a few hours in the garage :-)
Removed tank and front fairing so not to damage them .
Removed the airbox and plastex two threaded holes ,when its set I will re-drill them .
Took carbs off for a good strip and clean .
Replaced the side plates with the newly powder coated ones .
Changed over the choke plastic bits for the brass items :-)
Reset the tps -500ohms .
Refitted the carbs .
Filled the rads and bleed the clutch .
Fitted the chain .
Polished up my spare seat cowl with the left over wax that Carl gave me and put it outside in the rain and watched it bead :-) .
The list is now very short not much left to do .

Glad someone's been able to do something. It's been pissing down with rain here all day. Very frustrating

Having a garage has its advantages :-)
I was down Hatfield earlier it was very wet and lots of stupid fookers on the m1 :-(

I like the sound of that. What have you been using to fill and rub down the fairing. Don't tell me you have been rubbing down filler indoors

isopon bumper filler, it works a treat........
i like this idea, but i'd have trouble fitting a standard brake light, cutting the fairing for the brake light isn't a problem, its that the race fairing doesn't have any mounting points for the rear light, i also need a very thick seat pad, bring on the jokes
