as I am suffering from withdrawl symptoms already following the Scotland mini meet, I am really looking forwards to this next meet up :D .
Think I might need a new tent before then, as it didnt stand up to the wind in scotland very well.........it was being bent so far out of shape that I woke to find the side of the tent brushing my face, and I was sleeping in the middle of a 3 man tent!!!!!!.............and when we got home from the ride on Saturday the poles that form the poarch area had manage to jump out of the mounting pins and it was all flapping out of shape :(
it was a cheep ALDI special that I got for the kids to use at Reading Festival, so I guess you get what you pay for

I'm really looking forward to this one as well, when you start preparing the bike then it really starts to sink in that how close the ride is.

looking forward to meeting some new faces and some of the old ones, and swap stories of previous meets and memories of our fallen friends.

I'm unsure about which group to go with, I ride quick usually but dont like to be on the limit on roads I dont know

That's like me, I am not that bad, not slow, can hold my own but don't wanna ride at break neck speeds and some stunning scenery up there but my dave is defo in the first catagory but I think I'll go in 2nd group even though I've ridden Elan Valley, and the 483 a cpl of times and I'm used to Brecon, as i'm only 15 miles from llandovery, the other roads up there are new to me too as only been here a year and moved here as winter was headed.. I'm happy to ride in 2nd group and even if I tell Dave to go up to Group 1 I know he'll prob say "I'll come with you" lol.. he is my wingman and rides behind me usually as quite protective of arsehole drivers lol.. He has been known to 'discipline' one or 3 and is 'right up there' in a very fast cat, he also likes to sometimes take it at an easier pace and enjoy the ride .. ..No shame in saying you'll go in Group B, we will hardly be going at 50 now will we!! 8O

Sorry everyone I am going to have to remove myself from this trip :(

Off to France instead. I tried my hardest to have our main holiday a different week but its the only week we could both get off work  hope you all have fun. Look forward to seeing the photos.

I have now found out that I am working on the Saturday, so we can't come till either sat night or Sunday morning. Do we just turn up at the campsite and tag along or is there another meeting place. We want to go in the slow group!

Turn up Saturday night and join us for the curry and beer

Sunday has no formal ride out, but we tend to split into groups heading in the same general direction for a spirited ride home

Can I just point out that on page 1 list of attendees you have Bazza as being a Kent. Not only is not very nice it's factually wrong. He is an Essex boy through & through & this will become apparent when you see him in his white stilettos...

Unfortunately I wont be joining you all but have a great time, ride safe & dont get caught...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
