well i checked the diary, work roster and weather report and it looks like today is the last day for a while that i wont be either at work , drinking, doing stuff with the kids or its raining so i cocked my leg over the old storm and went out for a quick blast . not really very good weather , roads felt greasy but the bike felt as good as ever :)

also gave me the chance to try out my new lid which i got at a very tasty price the other day. very pleased with it. they were advertised as quiet and indeed it was , comfy too.

Sorry to ruin your dream, but the F111 is a swept wing bomber, the Mig is likely to be chasing you !

Ordered bits to balance carbs - got a 5mm brass screw and vacuum hose from those nice people in Belfast (Carbtune) (£5 delivered after calling them, rather than £8 for 4 plus del plus hose price). 5mm T-piece from Halfords (£1.69)

Ordered carb balance kit from ebay (£22.99).

Thanks to Al for his guide.

Ordered 4 x CBR600RR 03-06 stick coils and loom (£67 del), giving first refusal to Diabolus for the spares.

Dismantling bike a little to clean under the fairing. Happy days, isnt Christmas great!!

I've been out for a ride as well and put some more miles on the new tyres. Mostly town stuff so not overly exciting.
