Listened to the 2 CDs that Jamie sorted out for me.
The horrors were ok, I realised I had seen them at Reading a few yrs ago, a strange mix of sounds covering Jesus & Mary Chain, the wedding present and the Fall. Not bad but not fast enough for me to give 5* to.
The local band (was it animal noise?) were good, I probably liked them more than the Horrors. A bit of garage rock with a touch of prog rock influence almost!

Nice one Amcq, I really like Animal noise, for a first album from a local group I think they will go far!
The Horrors are a bit of a weird mix, the older stuff is very heavy/punky but they have gone towards an electronic Editors/joy division style, which is ok.
