Took it out of the shed,
Smelt it,
Over to garage,
filled it,
Ear plugs in,
Rode it :D :D :D

A nice 50 miler as soon as the snow went to get the battery charged. Very nice run, a few bikes out, quite warm.

Then home, washed, leathered and put away. Great day!

took it out of the garage, washed it, ran it up to temp, changed oil and put it back in the garage, dont ride it in January as i ski in feb and dont risk being knocked off and injuring a leg. I have skied with 3 broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder but you need your legs!!!. Roll on March for the bike!!!
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

That's why it's best if one can to care for and do ones own servicing/repairs. I wouldn't trust any garage unless I personally new the garage and mechanic. I'm sure you will have no probs giving her a good clean up and getting rid of the old oil and filter.

the thing is carl i've known the garage owner for 30yrs,we've bought, sold and rebuilt bikes from nortons to bussa's and i was his bike tester for 5yrs....i can't understand why he let the mingmong change the oil without asking if it needed changing first...oh and while i was cleaning it a bolt head dropped off,he or the mingmong has cross threaded a fairing bolt then GLUED it back to the fairing...i don't think today can get any worse, well i hope it can't anyway

Carbs balanced perfectly after sorting leaking vacuum pipe. Fork rebuild is on hold for a while as I want to get back to riding it more than tinkering .! Unfortuatly the next few weekends are very cold but I might get out friday and drain a few tanks worth. :D

They have come up real nice, good job  I'd be having words with your mate in the garage if I was you. He may not even be aware of this apprentice or whatever doing anything with you bike. Stop the Muppet working on anyone else vehicles unless supervised. :eek2
