Hey Rich -

I'm really sorry to hear that someone can't stand the discomfort they feel riding the Storm but as we all know they're not for everybody as most bikes aren't - different shapes and sizes to all of us.

Hence the question re persevering? he's not had it long and already looked at changing bars - maybe that or risers could do the trick for him?

It's not the most comfortable ride I've had but the pro's outweight the cons for me.

However, why should I pass up an opportunity to progress my project whilst at the same time, potentially, helping the guy out?

Bearing in mind it's only if the Storm doesn't pass its MOT.

If I'm a vulture then I am - I've been called much worse .

Yanto - Perhaps you could try risers or other bars, rearsets etc - Anyone live near you who's Storm you could try out for differences?

If it meant you'd keep it and start to enjoy it I'd be made up as would other people on the forum.

Sorry to hear the Storm isn't suiting you. As sportsbikes go its one of the comfier positions, but it doesn't suit everyone. LotusSevenMan wasn't keen on it at first either, but is loving it now he's fitted raised bars.
