Sheeez........thats not good, but at least things are being treated and that means you will improve. Obviously being on a trauma ward I see lots of injuries, many much worse and still despite all the odds people make a full recovery. Its amazing what the body can stand.
sincerest best wishes.........and not a joke in sight.

What little can words of mine say? Keren and i are thinking of you mate. Wishing you all the best for a full recovery. I hope that the wounds are not too deep. Mike, please pass our best to Sue and best wishes to Alan. Feeling rather empty to be honest and don't know what else to say.

Great news (though hold the wheelies for now Alan; it'll upset the nurses!!!)
I don't know Alan nor Sue personally etc but one feels all this is very close to home and I know all on the forum are hopin' for a good/very satisfactory outcome so keep up the good recovery 'M8'

OH MY GOD!
Only just found this thread, I have to put my hands up and say I never visit the general chat section (not sure why I looked this morning) so was totally unaware.... kind of pleased that I got to miss the ICU bit which always worries me (spent years working in hospital pathology before my current job) since I know the seriousness of that ward.
Please say hi from me when you next speak to his misses and tell him it's a good job that he was on the tractor and not his baby at the time.
Get well soon mate.

Went to hospital to see Alan today, walked into ward and pressed the buzzer to get in and nurse said "have you come to pick him up ?"
So I did..

shoved him in the car and made good our escape...
WOW

I definitely was not expecting that, that's brilliant news Mike

I bet Sue's happy about that too
Cheers,
Chris.
PS. Caz (Sparrowlegs) you crack me up
