Ok gramps that lets me in to declare my 62nd birthday next month. I passed my test at age 16 but didn't ride for 20 years as I was too poor to afford a bike.

Started up again about 20 years ago. Very handy these bus passes especially now the free travel is national. Just as fit as when I was 18 but in a lot of pain trying to prove it !

By my dodgy maths our average age is (drumroll)....................
the big 4 0!!
49 of us with a combined age of 1,975. The youngest is 21 and the oldest 63.
As with many things in life, that makes me just below average!!

Now on the USA Royal Enfield site I fit in the young to middling age group ha ha

54, and retiring to a life of leisure through voluntary redundancy. Now every sunny day I can go out on the bike instead of having to just look longingly through the window...

if I can afford the spiralling fuel costs that is...
