  I'd forgot that bridge
What a laugh, it nearly killed the lot of us.
If I remember rightly Simon was leading the way and we were all madly trying to keep up. I don't remember everyone but we had Iggy, Jag and his lad, kevg, Stu (Eggshellblond) me ,obviously, and Paul (Rainmaker) and a hole bunch of others which made it for the day trip.
I also remember haveing the sweats and bringing my boots up after a rather dodgy indian..or was it the beer I lined my stomack with before hand.
Either way, it was a good weekend and we should do another.
Anyone else still on here who went? Maybe we should do a reunion?

Oh Sh!t I just remembered the wedding and what Paul said to the bride

Aye,
You could have cut the air with a knife, (about as sensitive as a spark in a petrol tank) .

I enjoyed the curry that night :) and I remember you asking me if I was hungry, because I was first finished  It must have been the beer that caused you to bring your boots up.

I quite fancy a jaunt in the summer but, as always it is trying to find a place that suits everyone.
The Lakes to me is an ok jaunt but anything further south is too much for a weekend trip.
I think a trip to the south of Scotland was talked about last autumn, just have to see what materialises.

Cheers

I'll be up for it.
Actually I've been up for it the last couple of years but work keeps conspiring against me.
Great offer Mike, thanks, if everything works out it'd be much appreciated.
We'll have to get a proper plan sorted when the weather brakes and see what everyone fancies.

Stevie,
I'll not be able to sleep tonight thinking about a "weekend jaunt", bring on the longer daylight hours and (hopefully) the better weather. Oh and also an SP

Cheers

I'm up for a trip - if you don't mind a ZZR ..................

Or I could set off a week early and take the Velo :D

I remember that bridge  I thought "why is everybody slowing down", so I rolled off a bit. Next thing I knew I was about to be the first person to ride a bike to the moon. I remember looking down and seeing all the scars on the road. Lucky for me the bike stayed straight.
She's my idea of beauty and thats what I ride.

Nooo!
If you remember she was oh so young and nervous and Paul tried to make her feel better and give her a bit of confidence by telling her "Don't worry the second wedding is much more fun than the first, you get to enjoy it more" and the poor girl hadn't even walked down the isle for her first one yet!
Needless to say we all got some rather funnny looks from the immediate family  and poor old Paul didn't even know he had said something in rather poor taste, he thought he was being helpful 8O The look on his face was classic
