Well done Kaz in cracking the first week
I agree with Jim (Beamish) if you can have a drink without smoking that's a good sign, it must mean you're determined to give up.
Chris.

Well Done Kaz, It's great your doing so well ,I still have cravings for chocolatey type stuff, but have kept it up(mostly)to be honest have slipped
twice, once without realising but still not lost any weight.problem is still have bad ankle so exercise is limited. The other problem is i've been eating more friut and veg and i think it's making me smelley

...Do you think i should
take up smoking to try and hide the pong!
I'm doin my best

6 weeks is breaking point tbh. you will think, i'll just have one, then you end up smoking more than you did before!
happened to me a few times.
insurers dont class you as a non smoker until you have packed up for years tho.
just out of curiosity, go the docs and ask them to do a carbon monoxide test on you, you should be bob on by now???
i was wheezing like a pig but after 2 weeks i could run up flights of stairs again
good luck anyway - it's worth the effort!

Well done kaz seriously!!!
I have given up since 23/12/2009 since my son Harley was born but i have cheated alittle bit though as i use champix that the docs gave me and the only reason i took it as i get my perscriptions free as i have type 1 diabetes.
Now i think smoking is horrible i had one earlier to see what it was like lol just made my mouth taste funny and really pissed off my mrs lol
But fair play i dont think i could have done it without the tablets to be fair but it matters not how you give up its the fact you have so keep it up!!
Adam

Keep going Girl,
you can't weaken now. It's good you can be in a close space with a smoker and it's not bothering you.
I've never wanted to be one of those "holier than thou" smokers who can't stand having smokers around them. Fortunately other smoker don't bother me at all. Which is a good thing, cause most of me mates smoke and I'd be lonely without them

Hey Kaz, It's great your doing so well ,three weeks...couple of days and counting

.I've still been cutting back on "the sweet things in life "....
well most of them

and have to say not much weight loss ,but kinder feel better for it..so keep up the good work.
P.S. Did you notice that as soon as i said" I'm giving up chocolate" Cadbury
